Early April on the Rhine is when the vineyards above Rüdesheim start to green and the riverside towns are still quiet before the summer crowds. • Day 4, Speyer, Germany: A quiet town built around a Romanesque imperial cathedral, a UNESCO site.

  • Day 5, Rüdesheim and the Middle Rhine: Wine on the Drosselgasse, then the castle-lined Middle Rhine and the Lorelei rock, ending in Koblenz.

Good to know

You'll need a passport valid for at least three months beyond your return from Europe. Canadians don't need a visa for this trip, but the EU's new ETIAS travel authorization may be required by 2027, and I'll confirm it with you before you go. I also strongly recommend travel insurance, and I'm happy to help you choose a plan.

Ready to reserve?

Space at this fare is limited and the $25 deposit offer is time-sensitive. Send me a note or give me a call, and I'll check availability and hold a stateroom for you. Other Dates Available.
